William F. Prall

William F. Prall, 71, of Poland, IN and formerly of Bloomington died unexpectedly Friday, June 8, 2018 at I.U. Health, Bloomington Hospital. He was born October 14, 1946 in Martinsville to Worden Prall and Margaret Haider Prall. Survivors include a son, David (wife Jillian) Prall of Bloomington; two daughters, Elizabeth Prall and Margaret Prall both of Bloomington; four brothers, Fred (wife Cynthia) Prall of Bloomington, Jerry (wife Brenda) Prall of Columbus, Thomas (wife Lillian) Prall of Greenwood and Joe (wife Mary Williams) Prall of Seattle, WA; two sisters, Peggy (husband Mike) Weddle of Coatesville and Rosemary Prall; nine grandchildren, Holden and Truely Prall, Rylie and Michael Baker, Tiana and Alexis Prall and Kevin, Kywin and Kayla Mimms; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 37 years, Linda Marsh Prall. William and Linda founded Kilroy’s in 1975 and while operating Kilroy’s also raised their 3 children. After Linda’s death William then retired to Poland to pursue another passion of gardening, raising animals and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Vietnam after his discharge, William enrolled at Indiana University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree. There will be a Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St. No formal services are scheduled. Private Burial will be in New South Park Cemetery in Martinsville on Wednesday June 13th with Military Honors.
