She held a special place in her heart for her niece, Whitney Williams Rowell, and her husband, Spencer Rowell, and was delighted to be part of their lives as their family expanded. She found immense joy in the company of their three daughters, Stella, Charlotte, and Rory, all of Dallas, Texas.
In addition to her family, Julienne's life was enriched by her loyal friend Susanne Hartsock, who was always there for Julie. Upon retiring, Julie embraced her newfound freedom and spent her time pursuing her passions. Travel became one of her great joys, and she explored various destinations across the globe. Some of her favorite travel memories included visiting Venice Beach, California, the serene Adirondacks, and, of course, the beautiful bay area in her beloved Seattle. She found solace in the beauty of nature and cherished every adventure.
Beyond her personal pursuits, Julie had a tender spot for animals. She dedicated much of her free time volunteering at Meow Cat Rescue and PAWS Wildlife Center, where she cared for and nurtured countless furry companions. Her love for animals knew no bounds, and she found great fulfillment in making a positive impact on their lives.
Above all else, Julie adored her three grand nieces. Their presence brought immense joy and happiness to her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She traveled to see them as often as she could, and the bond they shared was a testament to the love and affection she had for her family.
