My Grandmother was absolutely the most wonderful person you'd ever meet. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind, and tell it like it is - and also offer advice and her thoughts on things, from a point of view that only comes from someone that's done and seen it all. And throughout all the trials and tribulations of daily life, her everlasting faith was something I'll hold close to my heart, and carry on until the Lord calls me home.

Her genuine and unconditionally loving smile is something that I'll personally never forget, and something that I can instantly see, if I think of it when I close my eyes. It was the same smile that she gave me, when I came unannounced during a particularly dark point in my short life, when I questioned the point of living on, if the end was assured and when I felt that I had no future, that I was a failure. Things that made me question my faith to begin with.
She knew just the right words to say, but not words that I just wanted to hear - what I needed to hear.
"It seems like I have everything figured out, but I'm still just stumbling around in the dark at the end of the day. Know that everything is on the Lord's time, and he has a plan and path for us all."

Those words have carried me through more than I thought I could bear, and more to come. I'm blessed to have had so many conversations with her as a man, that I'd have never truly understood the wisdom in as a bashful and naive boy. And I'm blessed that the Lord gave me her as a Grandmother.

Nancy always welcomed us into her home and heart with open arms.  I have always loved how she made you feel welcome and a part of her family no matter who you were.  We may be the family of her son - in - law, but she dropped the in law and made us family.  Thank you Nancy for the loving, kind woman that you were and know that she will be missed by many.  We love you Nancy and we know that you are in good hands now---- God's hands.

Mom loved to be with family,  it was her favorite thing.

My Mother loved her family and was the glue that held us together. She has always been there for all of us through thick and thin.  We talked everyday on the phone, I could call her anytime of the day or night and she would be there. 
She was humble, kind, sensitive, loving, and the most generous person that I know. She always remembered all of our family and friends birthdays, and she would be devastated if anyone was forgotten or left out. She included all with open arms.
Mom had a twisted sense of humor and those of you who know, know. 
Mom loved the Lord and I know she is pain free and in a better place, reunited with her family.
It's so hard to say goodbye, I love you Mom. We will meet again

The best part of my childhood was my grandparents. I used to love staying at grandma and grandpa’s house and going camping with them in the motorhome. My favorite memories of my grandma were waking up in the morning and she would make us Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast. I will always remember her cooking in the kitchen and helping her do the dishes afterwards. She always had a crossword puzzle in hand. Before bed I would sit on her lap and she would rub my back and sing “You are my sunshine”. She would always tuck us in and read the Bible to us before bed. I will always remember her warm presence and kind words. She is missed so very much. Until we meet again.
