Oleg and I studied abroad with WSU in South Korea. He was literally the light/energy of the group. He was one of the most funny/witty people I have ever met in my life. He had the best laugh ever and just had an amazing vibe about him.

I can even remember when you first started hanging out at the house, as you quickly a household fixture. You always offered a hug and a smile and always took the time to talk about what was going on at school, football and life in general. You were treated like family because you were family. I love you and will miss you, our lunch dates…and that smile.

I first met Oleg in 6th grade, Humanities. I don't quite remember how we started talking or what initially brought us together. All I remember is how much we would disrupt the class by outrageous laughter. 

I remember one day, Oleg and I were sitting next to each other in Mrs. Hale's class, we each had our notebook paper on our desk with the homework we had finished the night before. Right as Oleg was taking a drink, I had said something that had made Oleg laugh so hard he shot water out of his nose all across his desk. In between fits of laughing he tried using his homework to clean up the puddles of water that had pooled in front of him. By the time Mrs. Hale had come by to collect his homework, it was sopping wet and limp. We could not stop laughing. 

From that day on, Oleg and I were the best of friends and spent countless hours laughing hysterically. It was the foundation of our friendship. He was my brother for all of middle school and high school and our friendship continued through and after college. I'll never forget the times we had. 

I am truly wounded by his passing...he was my best friend for many chapters of my life and he will always have a special place in my heart, my history, and my memories. All I can do is hope that he is at peace and that he died knowing that I loved him and he was an irreplaceable friend. My life is a little dimmer now that he's gone...but the best way I know how to honor his memory is to carry on our tradition of laughter. But since he was the funnier one, that may prove to be quite a challenge. But I'll do my best. 

I love you Oleg, and I'll always miss you, brother.

Oleg was a part of my core group of my friends in middle school and early high school. when we were in middle school, I remember we spent a lot of time at Luke's house, playing airsoft, talking about girls or goofing off, I remember Oleg's laugh really well from that time, I can hear it when I think about it, I can hear us all laughing, thinking we were cool or that some day we might be. I remember sometimes we called him P-leg, we thought we were so funny. He had a mustache before any of us, haha I think we gave him a hard time about it. and I remember thinking he was so unbelievably tall when we were just kids. In a way it made me feel as though he was always older than us, but he wasn't, we're almost the exact same age. I wish I could have told him how much those memories of youth mean to me now. I am very broken up by the news, I'll be there sunday to show support and to grieve. I regret that we did not keep up after high school. We spoke briefly a few years ago, but we never caught up and I regret that too. Please, accept my deepest condolences to his family and his loved ones. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll always hold those memories of being kids together. I'll remember Oleg laughing and smiling.

I met Oleg in middle school and he was a major part of our friend group at that time. The countless nights we'd stay up playing GTA4 at Brady's house until early hours of the morning or the numerous airsoft wars  we had in Luke's backyard will always be cherished. He was always the type of person to bring the whole group laughing to the point of tears. Never a dull moment with him. 

I specifically remember one day in 8th grade summer he and a few friends visited my house while my parents were gone and we started filling up water balloons. I had the bright idea of trying to splash the water balloon on the kitchen window while they were inside filling up to try and spook them. And little did I know that my thrown balloon would end up shattering one pane of the double-pane window. And I remember how hard we started laughing as my joy turned into slight terror for what I had just done. But like any good friend would do, he helped me hide the evidence and we chiseled away all the remaining glass from the pane for almost an hour to the point where you couldn't tell a window had broken...until months later when on a cold night, the kitchen window began sweating and my parents investigated and found out what had happened. We lost touch in high-school and briefly reconnected a few times during college and after. He was a stand up guy who knew what was right when it mattered and he will be greatly missed. Thank you for being you, Oleg. I'll miss you terribly.

I met Oleg in Middle School I believe, at Harbour Pointe. He was always such a goofball and made those boring days at school not so boring. Didn’t keep in contact with him once we graduated from Kamiak, but still extremely saddened to hear the news. Hope you are in a better place big guy.

The first time we met Oleg was at the wedding of Chris and Larisa, and the dinner that evening.  It was a good time for two families meeting each other.  He stayed with Chris and Larisa while he finished high school and went to college.  On graduation he struck out on his own, working and staying with friends and just trying to find his way in life – a life that must have had lots of adventure in his journey with Larisa and sister Tanya, from Ukraine to Seattle and many points between.  It is very unfortunate that it was all cut short.  We hope Oleg is in a much better place.

Oleg and I met in the Perham dorms at WSU through Luke, and we're friends throughout college. He was someone who was always there for you and had your back. Oleg had the ability to always make me smile or laugh, even if I didn't feel it.  One of my favorite memories with him is when he took me to get Cougar Country the night of my 21st birthday. We sat in his car and talked about nothing and everything at the same time, laughing the whole time. He was wiser than his years and helped in tough situations. He was comforting and always knew what to say in what situation. I will always cherish these memories with him and miss him (and his laugh) constantly.  Sending all my love to his family❤️

Oleg was such a light in this world. I met him in college at Washington State University in 2014 and he was a good friend and goofball. He would always make me laugh, and make an entire room laugh with his quick wit and dry, amazing jokes. He was always down to hang with his friends and post-college, wouldn’t turn down an opportunity to bring some homemade bread to a function, or go to a weekend cabin trip, a Friendsgiving, or a friend’s birthday party. I will never forget some of our ridiculous and amazing conversations, and all of the fun memories we shared. I truly loved Oleg and loved our friendship. I will miss him so much.

Oleg, You escorted Madi to her first college party at WSU. You made sure she was safe & that meant the world to me. You will be truley  missed by our family.  To Oleg's Family, We are so very sorry for your loss. Oleg attended Kamiak with my daughters as well as WSU. He was also friends with my son who recently spent time in Chelan with him. We have many fond memories of Oleg.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Oleg and i were hired very close to the same time. He always had a smile on his face and was a pleasure to work with. He will be missed, i feel very blessed to have known him and worked with him. R.I.P my friend.
