

Born on April 7, 1937, in Clarksville, TN, Ann was the daughter of Jessie Frances Slate and Alfred Slate. After marrying the love of her life in 1957, Richard Lee Gutshall (Dick), they first moved to Germany before eventually making their home in Colorado.
Ann was a gifted pianist at Mesa Baptist Church in Boulder, sharing her talent and faith through every hymn she played. She was also an active and devoted member of Crossroads Church, where her presence and spirit will be dearly missed.
Ann embraced life with enthusiasm and style. A longtime member of The Ranch Country Club, she was an avid golfer and skier, always known for having the best outfits on the course and the slopes. She carried herself with confidence, grace, and a spark that made her unforgettable.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Dick Gutshall; her daughters, Janet Pitts(Steven) and Julia(Julie) Frances Seat(Roger); her grandchildren, Nathan Pitts(Hannah), Jason Pitts, Danielle Suzanne Seat, Savanna Frances Kaderi(Alex), her great-grandson Elijah Pitts, her brother, Jimmy Slate; and her sister, Martha Lee.
Ann cherished being a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife. She especially loved Christmas and the joy of gathering her family together, creating traditions and memories that will be treasured for generations.
A service to celebrate Ann’s life will be held at 10 a.m. on February 28, 2026, at Crossroads Community Center, 10451 Huron Street, Northglenn, Colorado 80234. The service will be broadcast on the church website : https://thecrossroadsabc.online.church/
Ann’s 88 years were filled with faith, passion, and love. Though she will be deeply missed, the music she played and the love she shared with her family will live on in the hearts and memories of all who were blessed to know her.
