Jana Marie Lambert

Jana Marie Lambert, 46, of Broomfield, CO (by way of DeSoto TX, Singapore, London and Pittsburgh PA) died April 25, 2015. Jana is survived by her loving mother Janice Lloyd, husband and partner in crime Ken Lambert, and her pride and joys, Angelina and Carter. Jana is also survived by her cousins Courtney, Ashley and Brian, and her Aunt Sandy, all of whom she adored.

We are comforted in knowing that Jana accomplished so much in life. She traveled the world. She was smart. The kind of smart that becomes the Managing Director of an Advertising Agency without a college degree. Jana was a foster parent, loving kids who needed it most, all the while teaching her son how to have empathy. It is a skill he excels at. Jana taught her daughter how to be a strong woman through guidance and example.

She was an amazing mom. An eternal optimist. No matter what life threw at her, she remained positive. Brain surgery, pyelonephritis, melanoma, breast cancer, chemo, surgery after surgery. She never stopped making plans for her future. She knew that having something to look forward to is the key to prevailing in the face of adversity. That was what she taught her family and it will never be forgotten.

Jana’s memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 29th at Crist Mortuary, 3395 Penrose Place, Boulder, CO, 80301.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Charity of your choice in Jana’s memory, or that you make a donation to the Roberto Clemente Health Clinic in Nicaragua (www.nicaclinic.org) where she was scheduled to volunteer this summer.
