Son of Clarence Frank Hegy and Eleanor Ullrich
Kenneth is survived by his wife Barbara and his children Eric, Mary, and Kenny and grandchildren Alexia, Conor, Lily and Alexa.
He graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1959. He felt it was an exciting time in space exploration, and he loved his work at Beech Aircraft, Ball Aerospace, the Kennedy Space Center and Houston. He worked on cryogenics, Skylab, and the Apollo missions. He loved nature, cars, gardening, astronomy, and sailing. He was a gift to his family and friends. He sadly passed on May 26, 2023, after a long and happy life. He will be missed.
