Though born in Louisville, Kentucky, Lisa grew up in Hazlet, New Jersey. There, she graduated from Raritan High School and Monmouth University.
Lisa is survived by her husband of almost 31 years Thomas Brackett; the light of her life, her two boys, Tommy and Patrick Brackett; father Dominick Andrew Tozzolino; mother Nancy Jane (Alex) Waszay (nee Grimes); sisters Debra (Michael) Kaplan; Wendy (Scott) Samis; brother David (Patty) Tozzolino; nephews Nicky, Jason, and Ty, and nieces Madison and Trissa.
At Lisa's request, she will be cremated in Boulder, Colorado. At a later time, her ashes will be spread in the sea during many celebrations of her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
