Mary was born August 17, 1942 in Denver, Colorado to Joseph and Marguerite Kuta (nee Lang).
On January 9, 1982, Mary was wed to John A. Phipps in Thornton, Colorado.
Mary is survived by her spouse of almost 40 years, John and her stepsons Marc and Bradley Phipps. She was preceded in death by stepsons Jason and Kelly Phipps.
Arrangements have been made with Crist Mortuary.
A memorial service for Mary will be held Friday, July 16, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Crist Mortuary, 3395 Penrose Place, Boulder, CO 80301. Following the memorial service will be a reception at 3:00 PM at American Legion Post 111, 1150 Pine Street, Louisville, Colorado 80027. Interment will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, CO at a later date.
