Myrna is survived by her brother, Kenneth Jackson of Lafayette, CO, her son Darren MacNair and
daughter Amy MacNair, both of Boulder, Colorado.
She is preceded in death by her father Kenneth Jackson, mother Victoria Jackson, sister Joyce Barta, and her late husband of 26 yrs, Terry MacNair.
Myrna was born in Chicago Illinois on July 14th, 1942 and grew up in Lemont, IL. Years later she graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelors in Education and went on to work as an elementary school teacher.
In June of 1966, Myrna and Terry MacNair were married and their two children, Darren and Amy, were born in 1968 and 1974, respectively.
Myrna was a person of deep faith from which she found much comfort and strength. Everyone who met Myrna found her to be the kindest and sweetest person they ever knew. She loved the Rocky mountains and loved watching the sun set over them.
Myrna will always be remembered for her listening ear and understanding heart. Her two children will forever be grateful for her support of their lifelong passions of music and horses.
Myrna will be missed deeply by her family, friends and all that knew her.
A funeral service is scheduled for December 28th at Crist Funeral Home. Flowers can be sent in memoriam through Velkamps at (303) 232-2673. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be sent to the Boulder Humane Society or Samaritan's Purse, in her memory.
