
Robin Colby Schudy, 75, passed away peacefully into eternal life on August 31 in Boulder, Colorado, surrounded by his family. Robin was born In Kansas City on December 12, 1938, to Frank and Georgia Schudy. He was graduated from St. Francis Xavier Grade School in Kansas City, where he met many of his life-long friends. Following graduation from Holy Cross Abbey High School in Canon City, Colorado, he attended Kansas City Junior College and served four years in the United States Navy. He was an avid athlete and lifelong sports fan. Robin was preceded in death by his parents and older brother Frank “Kayo” Schudy. He leaves behind his wife, love, and closest friend of 50 years, Patricia; their five children Eric (Ayelle), Kristin (Scott) Russell, Annie, Scott, and Brian; eight grandchildren; his sisters Dona Schudy and Suzanne Mooney; numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends. A Mass celebrating Robin’s life and his entry into eternal life will be offered at St. Francis Xavier Church, 52nd and Troost, at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 6. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the church from 9 to 10 a.m. Private interment to follow.
