

Ruth Elizabeth Schultz was born October 8, 1922 in the company town of Woronoco, Massachusetts in the foothills of the Berkshires. She was the third of four children of William and Hazel Schultz. Her mother died when she was seven years old. Ruth graduated from Westfield High School in 1940. After graduation and throughout World War II she worked as a comptometer operator. In 1942 she married Thomas Hendrickson Dozier in Russell, Massachusetts. They later divorced. She and Thomas had two sons, Thomas II and Donald. She married Alfred Schnebbe in 1959.
Ruth lived on Long Island, NY for many years and in Florida following Al’s retirement. They were avid boaters and owned several cabin cruisers over the years. One of their most memorable trips was cruising the Inland Waterway from New York to Florida when they retired. In 2005 Ruth moved to Boulder, Colorado to live nearer her son, Tom. She lived at Brookdale Boulder Creek and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church Ruth was predeceased by both of her husbands, her brother and sisters and her younger son, Donald. She is survived by her son Tom (Carol), four grandchildren, two great-grand daughters and nine nieces and nephews.
