Alyssa Diane Prignon passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. She was born December 27, 1986 in New Britain, Connecticut to Gary and Carleen Prignon. Alyssa was 31 years old. A Celebration of Life will be held at Crosspointe Church 3530 Whitfield Ave. in Sarasota on Friday, October 5, at 6:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow on Saturday at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, Florida at 4:00 p.m.
Alyssa brought joy and laughter to everyone. She loved to share hugs and spend special time with each family member and friend. She was an avid Barbie collector and lover of all things Disney. Alyssa graduated from the VIP High School Program at Easter Seals May 2006. She loved her cat Benji Boy and Bible Devotions at bedtime. Alyssa will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her loving parents, Gary and Carleen Prignon of Sarasota; two cherished sisters Alaine Miller and Kara Lopez, loving brother-in-law Jose Lopez, niece Madeleine Lopez, two nephews Jahsies and Hayden Lopez, two wonderful grandfathers Carl Miller and Albert Prignon and many loving Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by two loving grandmothers Helen Miller and Betty Prignon and beloved brother-in-law Jeffrey Miller.
