Anna May Malloy

She attended All-Girls Practical Arts School, class of 1943 in Roxbury, MA. Anna enjoyed reading and going for walks. During her time at the Pines of Sarasota Anna was awarded resident of the month October 2019, and was even featured on television for one of their commercials.

Anna is survived by her children Diane McConnell (Ken), Barbara Ormston (Steve), Harold Stewart Jr.(Patti Cerasoli) and Michell Balcom (Wayne); sister Shirley Tobin (Arthur) and her brother Harold(Sonny)Straughn. Anna also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren to forever cherish her memory.

Anna was preceded in death by her daughter Marilyn Stewart; siblings Norman Straughn Jr., Howard Straughn, Robert Straughn, Richard Straughn, Paul Straughn and Ralph Straughn. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Harold Stewart and her second husband Michael J. Malloy who she will be laid to rest next to at Manasota Memorial Park.

A celebration of life for Anna will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM officiated by her grandson Tyler Balcom at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Manasota Memorial Park, 1221 53rd Ave East, Bradenton, FL 34203. Followed by a committal service and an afternoon reception.
