She was the mother of five children, three sons predeceased her, Richard, Thomas and Douglas; she is survived by two daughters, Sally J. Otto (John) and Nancy J. Paliki (Frank), both of Florida, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a step daughter, Patricia Henning Goldbranson of West Virginia.
Barbara was a member of the Bayshore Gardens Community Church and a graduate of Oliver Ames High School, class of 1947, North Eastern Massachusetts.
