Mrs. Bridget Cunnien, 83, was called home to rest on March 3rd, 2018 in Bradenton, FL. Mrs. Cunnien was born on September 8th, 1934 to the late Carl and Pauline Hanson. She was the oldest of six children. In February 1952, she united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. Arthur T. Cunnien; and to that union, nine children were born.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur T. Cunnien, two brothers; Anthony and Richard Salomone and one granddaughter Deanna Pufko.
She is survived by four sons: Arthur J. (Myrna) Cunnien; Ronald (Diana) Cunnien; Richard (Kathy) Cunnien and Anthony P. (Cindy) Cunnien all from Bradenton, FL; five daughters: Theresa (Michael) McReady from Hartwell, GA; Gwendolyn (Edward) Pufko from Middleburg, FL; Maryann (Kevin) Gibson from Bradenton, FL; Wanda (Bert) Bennett from Jacksonville, FL; and Deborah (Patrick) Sullivan from Atlanta, GA; one brother: Frank Salomone and two sisters Carol Jeffcoat and Paula Potts; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, 833 Magellan Drive, Sarasota, FL 34243 on Saturday March 17th at 10:00AM. Fr. Joe Connolly will officiate. In care of Manasota Memorial Funeral Home.
