Dennis Clifford Allred, age 69, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born July 24, 1956, in Provo, Utah, Dennis lived a life defined by curiosity, music, and deep devotion to his family.
Dennis proudly served in the United States Air Force as part of the Titan II Missile Combat Crew. His military service helped build the steady character and sense of responsibility that guided him throughout his life. After his service, he built a career as an IT manager, embracing technology with the enthusiasm of a true self-described “geek.” He loved learning how things worked and keeping up with the ever-changing world of technology.
Music was one of Dennis’s greatest passions. A talented bass guitarist, he spent many years playing music and encouraging other musicians. Whether on stage, practicing, or sharing stories with fellow players, Dennis found joy in the rhythm and community of music.
Dennis also loved traveling, cars, the stock market, keeping up with technology, and spending time near the water. He especially loved watching sunsets over the Gulf, moments that brought him peace and appreciation for the beauty around him.
Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who took great pride in caring for and supporting the people he loved.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shanna Larson Allred; his sons, Brett Clifton Allred (Crystal) and Aaron Dennis Allred; and his cherished grandchildren, Ammon, Rheddik, Harrison, and Lyla. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Frances Allred, and his brother, Michael Wayne Allred.
