Douglas McDonough passed away surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, April 6th, 2019 in Bradenton, Florida. Doug was born October 28th, 1962. He was raised in Rockville, Maryland where he graduated from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School. He then attended the University of Dayton where he received a B.S. in Finance. He spent most of his adult life in New Jersey where he worked as a data consultant. He then moved to Florida to seek out his life’s passion of fishing. He enjoyed friends, family as well as his greatest pleasure in life, his son Shane with whom he shared the best days of his life. Doug touched the lives of many people throughout his entire life with his smile, generosity and an immeasurable sense of humor. He is survived by his father Michael McDonough, his son Shane McDonough, his fiancé Subia Franco, his sisters Amy (David) Monti and Claire (Bart) Taylor, his half-sister Jean (Jeff) Mullikin as well as many nieces nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his mother Pearl McDonough in 2012.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday April 11, 2019 at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church 3100 26th St. W, Bradenton FL. Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home is entrusted with final care.
