

Ethel Williams, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025 in Bradenton, Florida. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 7, 1929, and throughout her life, she touched the hearts of all who knew her with her kindness, generosity, humor, and love.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Williams, and her sisters, Lillian Barber and Shirley Donahue. She is survived by her three children, Edward, Nicholas, and Donna. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish her memory.
Ethel’s love for her family was the center of her life. She delighted in cooking and baking for them, especially her famous chocolate chip cookies. She enjoyed working in her yard, watching old movies, reading romance and suspense novels, and tackling crossword puzzles. She loved history, particularly the Civil War and Ancient Egypt. The holidays, especially Christmas and Halloween, were her favorite times of year, when she filled her home with decorations and her family with joy.
Ethel was truly one of a kind, and there never was - and never will be - anyone quite like her. Her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love will be deeply missed, but remembered always.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at Saints Peter & Paul the Apostles Catholic Church, 2850 75th St W, Bradenton, Florida.
