Gary Tanno, age 71, of Sarasota, Florida passed away on Wednesday May 13, 2020. Gary was born August 18, 1948 in Mount Vernon, NY to the late Virginia Tanno and the late Joseph Tanno. Gary attended Bronxville High School and was a well-known athlete. He played all major sports and graduated with the class of 1966. Gary then continued his education at Fordham University.
He was an insurance agent for over 20 years, with Palmer-Tanno Agency. However when time allowed Gary was often found on the tennis court or on the field playing softball.
Gary is survived by; daughter Ashley Lauren Tanno; brother Gregory Paul Tanno (Denise); niece Marley Cooper and nephew Justin Tanno. He was preceded in death by; father Joseph Tanno and mother Virginia Tanno.
