Jan. 12, 1930 - July 5, 2014. Harry was the love and best friend of his wife, Lois Annette Modlin Schmidt Miller. He loved God and his church. He was caring and liked by everyone and will be greatly missed. Survived by his sons, Robert (Roberta) Miller, Don (Patti) Miller, daughter, Cherie (Paul) Newell, step-son, Michael (Donna) Schmidt, step-daughter, Donna Merrill, grandchildren, Sean and Max Miller, Christina Arroro, Michele Orozoc, Lisa Harris Schmidt, Crystal Cranfield, Dale Merrill, great-grandchildren, Alexis and Andrew Oliveria, Ciara, Charles and Colton Harris, Grace Arroro, Jessie and Kaley Hatfield, Alizabeth Cranfield and Angeline Miller. Sister-in-law, Peggy Gray, along with many nieces and nephews.
A long-time member of Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, he sang in the church choir and Bay Coral. He served in the Army from 1951 to 1957 and was a member of American Legion Post #24 in Bradenton. Prior to retiring, he was a controller for Lebow and Hitmann.
A memorial service will be held at Kirkwood Presbyterian Church on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 11:00a.m. with reception to follow at Pfrangle Hall.
