Irma Garcia Elizarde of Anna Maria passed away at home at the age of 89; she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph. She attended and graduated from Hillsborough High School, Tampa, and retired from the Miami Dade county School Board. She is survived by her son Joseph Elizarde (Linda), daughter Valerie Rosas (Julio), grandchildren Vincent Elizarde (Jenn), Steven Elizarde (Maggie), Anthony Rosas (Crystal), great grandchildren Jasmine & Joanna Elizarde, Luke, Kyle & Drew Elizarde, Jackson & Joseph Rosas, and nephew Kenny Suarez (Chris). Visitation will be held on Thursday May 12, 2016 From 1pm to 1:30pm at The Manasota Funeral Home 1221 53rd Avenue East, Bradenton FL. 34203. Burial service to follow at 2:30pm at The Sarasota National Cemetery 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, Florida 34241.
