On August 19, 2020, Jane Delene (Bultema) Entsminger passed peacefully in her sleep to be with the Lord she loves. Born on April 12, 1942, to Margaret Timmer and Daniel Cornelius Bultema in Muskegon, Michigan, she was 78 years old.
Every morning Jane faithfully began her day studying her Bible, highlighting and writing notes in the margin, which has now become a treasure to her family. She also loved to read, color, put together puzzles, fish with her grandson Andrew and watch Unsolved Mysteries with her granddaughter, Grace.
Jane was a gifted floral designer who delighted to create beauty, bringing joy to those around her. She helped manage several home decor businesses with her husband, James Edward Entsminger, who she was married to for fifty-one years. He preceded her in death eight years ago.
Jane is survived by her three children and their spouses Jim Entsminger (Debbie), Jerri Bourzac (Pedro), and Jeff Entsminger (Trish) and her two grandchildren, Andrew Entsminger (along with his wife Alison) and Grace Bourzac, all of whom she dearly loved.
Due to COVID concerns, the family will be observing a small private service to honor her.
In lieu of flowers, please share a memory of mom on this page. To honor Jane, her family plans to purchase a commemorative bench in a beautiful spot she enjoyed in Sarasota. This bench will bear a plaque with her name and a verse she treasured on it.
“Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.” Psalm 23:4
Jane believed this, experiencing the Lord faithfully with her throughout her days until the very end and is now more alive than ever! We so look forward to seeing her again!
