Jack served his country for ten years in the United States Air force during WWII, the Korean War, as well as in China, Burma, and India; where he worked as a teletype operator translating coded messages. Jack went on to become a Professor at Chaffey College in California. He retired to Bradenton where he served on the Fair Lane Acres’ Board of Directors when the members’ purchased the park. In his spare time, Jack was a devoted walker at Southeastern Guide Dogs.
He is survived by loving wife, Betty; one son, one granddaughter, and one grandson hailing from California; as well as seven great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by two wives; two daughters; as well as one grandson.

Memorial Services will be held 9:30 AM Tuesday, August 16 at Sarasota National Cemetery; 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota FL 34241.
