He was preceded by his beloved wife of 46 years, Ardith M. Park. Joseph is survived by his daughters Cynthia Jagger and Tina (Derek) Clemen, both of Bradenton, son Louis (Larren) Park of Sarasota, and 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, with whom he loved spending his time.
Upon retirement from Kent State University, Joseph enjoyed woodworking, fishing and baseball.
Visitation is Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. and Funeral Service is at 12 noon, both at Manasota Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
