Born in Hazleton, PA to the late Louis and Elizabeth (Gaizick) Mariano. She graduated from Hazleton Senior High School in 1955. MaryAnn worked as a secretary and hairdresser in Doylestown for many years before returning back to Hazleton. She worked with her sister Theresa at Pal Joey’s Sporting Goods in the Laurel Mall and as a teacher’s aide at Arthur Street Elementary School with children who have disabilities and special needs.
MaryAnn or “Kelley” as known by her friends and family loved the years she lived in Doylestown PA. She also enjoyed classic old movies, listening to Frank Sinatra tunes, good conversations and the time she gave of herself to so many.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter Christina at age 4 and a half; and sister, Theresa Parente.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kim Ross and husband, Rusty; two granddaughters, Jillian and Jacqueline; great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn; brother, Louis Mariano, Jr, and wife, Irene; sister, Betty Lou Matweecha, and husband, Francis; eight nieces; two nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. She was loved by many, will be missed by all, and will never be forgotten.
