

Mary Lou Maynard, age 94, of Bradenton, Florida passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025. She was born November 20, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois. Mary Lou would call Michigan her home until she and her husband retired to Bradenton, Florida in 1992.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Marion G. (Red) Maynard; son, Michael Maynard; son-in-law, Michael Pierce; and grandson, SSGT (USAF) L. Shawn Bartley.
Mary Lou is survived by her five daughters: Christine Taylor (Kendal) of Palmetto, Florida; Patricia Sprague (Peter), of Ft. Myers, Florida; Mary Anne Tennant (Larry), of Bridgeport, Alabama; Carolyn Bartley (Edwin) of Dadeville, Alabama; and Sharon Pierce, of Traverse City, Michigan. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Helen Peters Totzke of St. Joseph Michigan, niece, Nelva Clark, of Broomfield, Colorado, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 4:00 -6:00 p.m., and memorial service on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Manasota Memorial Park, 1221 53rd Ave East, Bradenton, FL 34203.
