Mathew J Charron

Matthew J. Charron, 46, of Lakewood Ranch, FL died Monday February 6, 2017 of injuries suffered in a traffic accident. Matthew was born to Russell and Patricia (Goulette) Charron on August 26, 1970 in Burlington, VT. Matthew had resided in Florida the past 28 years with the exception of 2 years living in Manchester, NH while employed by Tyco. It was there the love of his life, Paige Elizabeth, was born.

Matthew was an incredible man who was loved by all who came to know him. After receiving his GED, he advanced to become an Information Technology Specialist, employed by Citrix Corp overseeing the west coast of Florida. Matt was the recipient of numerous awards, always a top performer. Matthew loved and participated in many sports and had recently developed a strong interest in playing hockey on a local team.

Matthew dearly loved his family. He is survived by his daughter Paige of Holmes Beach FL, his mother Patricia Goulette of Rutland VT, his father and step mom Russell and Susan Charron of Williston VT, brother Joseph of Burlington VT, sister Melissa Charron and her fiancée Gary Greeno of Essex Jct VT, sister Courtney Kowalewski of Troy NY, sister Amanda Charron and her partner Kevin Foss of Barre VT, sister Allison Charron of Burlington VT as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Matt also leaves behind many friends in Vermont and Florida as well as friends he made throughout the US while on business travels. Matthew was predeceased by his Grandparents. Matthew is also survived by his former wife Kimberly Charron of Holmes Beach Florida. Kim has been standing by the family and has been very helpful and supportive during this tragic event. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Francis Xavier Church, 3 St Peter St. Winooski, Vermont 05404.
