Nancy was born in Flint, Michigan on January 20, 1941. She attended Flint Central High School, graduating in 1959.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 51 years, James Michael Best; her daughters Julie Pyscher Fellinger, Kristin Scheppmann, and Jennifer Pyscher Fineran; her grandchildren Melissa (Alex) Midkiff, Rachel (Robert Nowicki) Medema, Matthew Scheppmann, and Stephen Medema; and her sister Suzanne Brisbane.
Nancy enjoyed traveling with her husband Michael, ballroom dancing, bowling, reading, solving crossword puzzles, cooking, visiting family and friends, and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Glen and Delores (nee Dunbar) Petty, and mother-in-law Maureen Best.
