Intoccia was a US Army veteran of the World War II Battle of the Bulge. He retired from AT&T in New York, and became a valued volunteer at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. He was also a dedicated pherisis donor.
He is survived by his beloved wife Angela, daughter Linda Lanza, son Don Intoccia, daughter-in-law Karen, and step-children Marcy Olah and Sandra Hoffman, all of whom he dearly loved. He was also an adoring and doting grandfather of seven, and great-grandfather of five.
Visitation will be held from 1–9 PM on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Manasota Memorial Funeral Home in Bradenton. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday at the Funeral Home, followed by burial at Sarasota National Cemetery.
