GRAMPS,  where are you when i need you most?

 i was so sad when i got home from school/dainelle's house.i was so exited until i found out about how he had died.he was a great man.

Linda , I am so sorry to hear about your dad.  I have not seen or talked to you since Commack High School.  I searched in facebook  for my old friends, and unfortunately, this is the search I found.  My deepest condolences  Phyllis Nazar Zappia .

I was so sorry to hear about your dad. I know how close you two were. We all had some good times and lots of laughs over the years. I'm glad I got to see him one last time at your retirement party. He always had good advice for me (not that I always took it!). I will miss his sense of humor and easy-going way. I'm so sorry for your loss. He's already in my daily prayers. I want to get him to Heaven so he can pray for me.

I have many happy memories of my Uncle Bobby.  To limit them is difficult but here are a few of my favorites. One from the earlier years I remember running home from school, seeing what I thought was your car in the driveway and thinking you were visiting.  I was so excited until I found out, to my disappointment, my parents had bought almost the same car (and same color) as your car. Then  there was the horsefly incident on your boat that you couldn't stop laughing about for years and years later.  In more recent times, there are two days that really stick in my mind. There was the day Frank & I went with Don & Linda to visit you in the hospital. We had smuggled in provolone cheese, crackers and wine and everyone who passed us by in the hall, were wondering what the smell was (new age medicine, of course). Finally, a real favorite memory came while we were staying at Linda's when she was recovering from her knee injury. Uncle Bobby & Tricia were assigned towel folding duty.  Well, when I suggested we rotate the clean towels in the closet, you amost flipped!  You said there was a reason I was you favorite niece, because no one else understood the "rotation" system.  I will miss you, but know the laughs and good times I was privledged to share with you, will bring a smile to my heart.

Thank you so much for all you did.I remember when I used to call you Bob.You had great talent and were a very good man.I was supposed to call you gramps but you didn't care. I pray beyond the stars that we will meet aigan someday. When I have children I'll think of you.You changed my life. I'm so glad that I got one last kiss from you.I love you. Thanks for taking me out of car riders on wednsdays.you will be missed.

Dear Gramps,
I must admit that you touched my life like my own Grandfather. Afterall, you were both Army men with a lot similarities. I will always remember our chats, and the way you loved Nicholas and Christopher (and all the rest of us kids, both big and small). I have reminded "Nicky-Baby" and CJ of "Senior Citizen Happy Hour" and all the fun times spent. Thank You for everything.

Robert loved us all and did alot for us.He will always be in our hearts. Robert was very healthy and worked as a volenteer at Lakewood Ranch Hospital.He was a very  great man.If I had two last words to say to him I'd say good-bye gramps. Gramps is what all his granddaughters/sons called him. If you asked me one word to describe him i'd say caring. He was loved by lots and will never be forgotten.

Bob the love of my life my honey all is said and done.  I'm left at home with you in my heart forever.  The house is so empty I feel so lost. I just don't know what to do with myself without you.  So many things that the both of us shared.  Some how I know you will help me walk this horrible road on earth without you.  I also know it will take time because you took life slow and always told me to relax sit down and  talk to me.  So I would sit down and talk to you and sometimes it would be hours talking and we wouldn't even realize how long we talked.  A part of my heart is with you and I know a part of your heart is with me.  My love I miss you soooo much.  I will wait until we meet again.

My earliest memories of Uncle Bobby were on his boat.  Always smiling and tan. He was so supportive to us when we needed him and gave us strength during my father's illness. I feel blessed to have been his niece. My condolences to you all.

Bob was a wonderful man and an outstanding Volunteer at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. I was his manager up until May of this year and found Bob to be a joy to work with. Staff members continue to come up to me this week to share their kind words about Bob; everyone loved and appreciated him. We will miss him dearly. For my Uncle Bob-
Who used to make me bologna sandwiches for breakfast when I would come to stay with him.  Who I would call when my dad was sick, and you would hop a plane and be there in a couple of hours.  Who called me "kid" even in my thirties.  Who you could always count on to bring a smile and teach us all what it means to be "family".  Many wonderful memories.  Thanks for it all.
You will be missed.

When we count our blessings we count among them our friendship with the Intoccia family.  We have enjoyed seeing Bob at all the birthday parties, holidays, and family gatherings over the years, and we will remember him fondly in the years to come.  You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Bob at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, and had the opportunity to "spy" on him as he interacted with our patients.  Bob was so kind and gentle with our patients, and he took great care to make sure they were delivered safely to their cars at discharge. We would have expected to see him working in the front lobby tonight, and it is with a heavy heart that I will leave through the front door without him there.  Bob, may you rest in paradise!

I don't know who is going to tell me to "keep cool" now. I will miss you terribly, but will always remember all the great times we had....alright, maybe not all, there were so so many.
