He was born September 3, 1943, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and served in Vietnam. He retired from the Collier County Sheriff’s Department.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father and a daughter, Stacy. As a loving husband and father, he leaves behind his wife Teresa, brother John “Chip” Thome, daughters Ann Marie, Victoria and Vanessa, son-in-law Jerry, adored grandson Gabriel, and many beloved friends.
Bob was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He is also a member of the Pyrates of the Gulf Coast and the VFW. He was a former member of the Anna Maria Privateers, Elks, Moose, and Kirby Stewart Post American Legion. He will be missed and loved forever.
