Robert Patrick, 76, of Bradenton, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on October 23, 2021. He died peacefully at home after a short illness. He was born on September 16, 1945 in Vidalia, Georgia and relocated to Bradenton as a child where he attended Southeast High School. He was a masonry contractor for over 50 years and spent time volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, which he very much enjoyed.
He is survived by Sandra, his wife of 54 years; son Randy (Christina), daughter Kim Raburn (Jason); granddaughters Amber Quiroz (Armando), Kayla Guerra (Rob) and grandson Brandon Patrick; six great-grandchildren; brothers Virgil Patrick (Connie) and Jack Patrick, both of Lyons, Georgia. He was preceded in death by sister Edna Morris of Vidalia, Georgia.
He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Nothing was more important to him than the love he felt for his family. In his mind, his great-grandchildren could do no wrong but in the minds of others, many of whom considered him a "dad", "uncle", "brother" or lifelong friend, he could do no wrong. He was an incredibly loving and caring man that had a passion for his work, classic cars, the Tennessee mountains, and spending time with his many friends. He was very much loved and respected by everyone that knew him and he rarely met a stranger. He will be greatly missed.
