Walter “Ben” Holcomb, Jr., age 47 of Bradenton, FL passed away August 21, 2017. He was born April 19, 1970 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Ben attended Southeast High School, graduating in 1989 and went on to be a Concrete Plant Manager of Durlach Industries. Ben thoroughly enjoyed being members of both the National Rifle Association and the American Fishing Association. A perfect day for him would be spending time on the golf course or fishing, all while spending quality time with his wife, Linda, and his family and many friends. Ben will forever be remembered for his laugh, his smile, and the way he cracked jokes. He was the most forgiving man and would do anything for anyone, especially his children and his grandkids. Ben is survived by his wife, Linda Holcomb; his mother, Dollie Holcomb; his children, Brandin (Elyse) Holcomb, and Kayla (Sergio) Negrin; grandchildren, Jayden, Brylee, and Sergio; and his siblings, Lisa Holcomb, and Doug (Carrie) Holcomb. He was preceded in death by his father and best friend, Walter B. Holcomb, Sr.; sister-in-law, Jennifer Reeves; and his grandson, Bradyn Holcomb. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11am at Manasota Funeral Home; 1221 53rd Ave. E., Bradenton, FL 34203.
