I'm very sorry for your loss. Freddy was like a dad to me growing up at Lyons fuel. I nick named him dad and fred the flirt. He always made us smile. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I was shocked to read of Freds' passing in the Long Island Advance this morning and so saddened as well. Fred, was a true blue, happy go lucky guy who always saw the bright side to the worst of days. You all must be devasated by his loss. My sincere condolences to Angie and the "kids" (hardly kids anymore). Melody and my thoughts and prayers go with you all. I guess God felt the need to brighten his heaven with the sunshine of Fred's smile and personality. Go in peace old friend.

I never got the pleasure of meeting you, William, but I know your daughter Kathy very well. And I must say she is one of the kindest and most big hearted people I have ever met. I as well as my family have always had great memories of you and Freddy . He always had a big smile on and a very cheery , happy personality. I liked being around him. I'll always remember a time we went fishing and he caught a very large striped bass on this tiny little  steel pole . He looked like he was fighting a great white shark, yelling and laughing while running around the boat trying to land this striper. Forever etched in my mind, the BIG SMILE!!
