Anna was born in Franklin Lakes on December 17, 1939 to the late Otto and Sadie (Bleeker) DeJager. Prior to her retirement, Anna was a Paraprofessional Educator for Sparta Board of Education. It was one of her many passions being able to work with children with special needs. Anna was a member of Lafayette Federated Church for 47 years, where she took part in many activities.
The beloved wife of 62 years to James T. Cox, Sr., Anna is survived by her children, James T. Cox, Jr. and his wife Coleen, David Cox and Tracey Cox-Hasse and her husband Alan; her 7 loving grandchildren who were the pride and joy of her life and her brother, Peter DeJager and his wife Gwyneth.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 10-11 a.m. at Lafayette Federated Church, 180 NJ-15, Lafayette, NJ 07848, a celebration of life will begin at 11 a.m.
