David was born to Vincent and Florence Della Volpe in Bergen County, NJ. He was raised in North Arlington and later moved to Lake Hopatcong before settling in Augusta with his wife, Diana, and their three sons.
David was a master HVAC technician and was employed by Fredericks Fuel Oil in Oak Ridge for 25 years. He enjoyed his boat, riding his motorcycle, tending to his fish tanks and spending time at home with his family. David also enjoyed visiting his mother, brothers and their families in Florida. He took great pride in his home and will be remembered for great barbecues and pool parties.
David was predeceased by his father, Vincent, in 2005; and his eldest son, David Jr., in 2012.
He leaves behind his wife, Diana; two sons, Steven and Michael; his mother, Florence; his brothers, Vincent, Victor, Gary and their families.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St., Branchville, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, 209 Rt 206, Branchville, NJ.
