Donald G. Irwin, age 67, of Shohola, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Donald was born March 7, 1955 to Joan Taylor Irwin and Donald John Irwin in Upper Darby Pennsylvania. He was raised in Washington Twp. and moved to Sandyston Twp. with his family in 1967.
Donald had a 40 year career as an Operating Engineer, retiring two and half years ago from Local 825 in Springfield, NJ. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, traveling, the beach and the mountains, his dog Kaia and spending quality time with his beloved family.
Donald was very dedicated to his family and friends; he will be deeply missed.
Donald is survived by his wife, Patricia Sienkiewicz Irwin of 43 years, his two sons Daniel Irwin and Gregory (Ronit) Irwin, 2 Grandchildren, Zachary and Zoey, his brother Thomas Irwin and his sister Joan (Charles) Gerth.
Donald was preceded in death by his father Donald John Irwin, his mother Joan Taylor Irwin, and his brother Scott Irwin.
A visitation for Donald will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St., Branchville, NJ, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM.
