Frances Demalderis, age 95, of Warwick, Rhode Island, formerly of Sandyston, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Frances was born in the Bronx, New York December 21, 1926 to Laura Damone and Angelo Damone. She was a long time resident of Brooklyn, New York and Sandyston, New Jersey before moving to Warwick, Rhode Island to live with her daughter.
Frances was the former Librarian at Our Lady Help of Christians School in Brooklyn, New York. She was the founding member of the Ladies Society Beato Giacomo, Prayer Shawl, Legion of Mary,Eucharistic Minister and member of St Thomas the Apostle Church in Sandyston, New Jersey and former member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church of Brooklyn, New York.
Frances enjoyed reading, Crocheting, quilting, knitting, puzzles, card playing, bowling, decorating and snapchat
Frances is survived by her daughter Patricia Mullins (Roger); her daughter Loretta Winde (Ron); her daughter Angela Eiring (Michael); her son Joseph Demalderis (Elise); her grandchildren Christine Wutz (Jared), Michael Eiring (Erin), John Doelger (Ashley), Heather Cantu (Daniel), Lauren Podmore (John), Melissa Walters (Brendan), Jeannie Jones, Rachel Demalderis (Wyman), Nicholas Demalderis; and her great-grandchildren Quinn, Meghan, Shea, and Connor Wutz; Michael, and Ryan Eiring; Cadence, Taelynn, and Eliam Cantu; Patrick and Colleen Walters; Brooklyn and Brynn Doelger; and Ryleigh Podmore.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband Gennaro (Jerry) Demalderis; her parents, Angelo Damone and Laura Damone; her siblings, Nofie Damone Francesca and Onofrio Damone.
A visitation for Frances will be held Monday, May 23, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at St Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 210 US-206, Branchville, NJ 07826, followed by a 1:00PM Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment to follow in St Joseph's Mausoleum Newton, New Jersey.
