Jack was born and raised in Frankford Township to the late Grover and Grace (Ayers) Utter.
Jack was a proud Army Veteran who served during World War II. Prior to his retirement in 1975, he worked for the New York District Council of Carpenters Local Union 1556. Jack was always active as a life member of the Frankford Township Fire Department and was always ready to help anyone in need. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved to travel, and was often seen riding his four-wheeler in the neighborhood.
The beloved husband of the late Mabel Utter, Jack is survived by his four children, Joanne Thomas (David), Carol Marion (Dan), Jack Utter (Lisa) and Craig Utter (Donna) along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his good friend, Cheryl Kinney. Along with his parents and wife, Jack was predeceased by his son Larry Utter.
Graveside services with Fire Department and Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at Branchville Cemetery, Pines Road, Frankford Twp. A time of fellowship will follow at the Frankford Fire Department 390 US Rt. 206, Branchville, NJ 07826
