Pauline was born in Muncy, PA and moved to Sussex County in her teens. In her younger years, she worked at the legendary Worthington’s Bakery helping make their famous cinnamon buns. During World War II, Pauline was one of the 5 million civilian women who made their way to California to serve in the Defense Industry. She was a local entrepreneur in Sussex County for many years.
Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Reeves L. Tooker; her parents, Charles and Florence (Foust) Worthington; five brothers; and one sister. She is survived by her children, Edward Cooper and wife, Nancy, Charles R. Cooper and wife, Sue, Susan Hrynko and husband, Mike, and Reeves L. Tooker and wife, Danielle; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St, Branchville. A Celebration of Life Brunch will be held from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Hampton Diner, 36 Hampton House Rd, Newton.
