Virginia was born in Wantage on February 11, 1958 to the late Scott and Dorothy (Haggerty) Gray. Virginia was a cafeteria worker for over 20 years at High Point Regional High School. She was a lifelong resident of Wantage Township; she enjoyed her trips to Wildwood for the NJ Firemen’s Conventions. She was an avid gardener and appreciated spending time with her loved ones, and cherished taking her grandchildren out on trips to the park.
The beloved wife to the late, Gregory A. Perry, Sr., Virginia is survived by her children, Maria Perry and Gregory Perry, Jr. and his wife, Adriana; her grandchildren, Autumn and Kairi and her brother, Dennis Gray and his wife, Nubia. Along with her parents and husband, Virginia is predeceased by her brother, Scott Gray, Jr.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main Street, Branchville, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2024 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Branchville Cemetery.
