I'll always remember coming to stay with you when I was 12, how you and papa gave me a second chance. I remember playing video games for hours, playing cards and board games. sharing romance novels and murder mysteries. I remember the many road trips we would take, seeing Vegas for the first time, Tahoe, Reno, Nevada, oregon, Pacific Grove. Whether it was a casino or the ocean, you shared with me your love of travel, fantasy and adventure. Even as an adult we went on a few fun trips together. You always made holidays special. We baked together, picked out ornaments for the tree, picked out presents. You always made the holidays so special, and created traditions for our family that we enjoy even now. My love for travel, reading, games, nature, and the holidays, all came from you. You taught me to be strong, caring, and to love my family. You were the only mother I've ever known and I miss you so much. Thank you for opening your home to me, and loving all of us. Rest in peace nana, I love you.

Mom...you are so very missed!! We Pray that you are up in Heaven with God, Jesus and Dad!! I hope the reunion with Grandma, Grandpa Schley, Auntie Iva and all of our other loved ones as well as our friends that passed before you, is all that you hoped for. Oh and the Elvis Presley meeting too!! Lol. Thank you so much for being a wonderful Mother to me! I am blessed!! It is a comfort to know you are no longer in pain and free of all of the indignities you had to endure with your battle with cancer!!! May you rest in forever peace and may God Bless you for all eternity!!
I will not say good bye but until we meet again...I love you forever!!
Your loving daughter,
Angela L Ott-Katrones
