Dad, today markers 9 years since you left us.  I can't believe how fast time goes by.  Life is never the same as we keep losing our loved ones.  It so hard to be believe that we are all your guys ages now.  I totally understand now what you all went through as you got older.  Every day its something. Its hard to stay strong when there is so much going on around us. I spend as much time as I can with the kids.  As we all never know when the Lord will call us home. We have all had a great life that is for sure.  And continue to have.  I live each day to the fullest.  So many struggles going on with so many, but I keep the faith and pray for all daily.  I wish you and mom where still here, life was so uncomplicated back than. The dinners we share and the many trips we all went on. What I wouldn't do to have them all back.  I think about them always, and treasure the memories.  Michael talks about you all the time and wish you where here to be with him. You would be so proud of the young man he has become. Dominic has a beautiful baby girl.  The grand kids and great grand kids are all doing good. We all continue to make memories  together as a family . I now you guys are all watching over us every day.  Unfortunately  the world right now is in a mess. We are all praying we get past it. Hello Dad, so much to say, just wish you where here to say it to. Today marks the day you left me. Boy was that a sad day. I am so grateful for the time we spent together in you last days. Little did I know that you would be gone from us so soon. Time keeps marching on and everyone keeps on going. We miss all of you so much. So much has gone on. Michael is turning 18 this week, graduating in a few months. Your great-grand kids are getting so big. Darling as ever. You all are missed so much. We are all doing well. Spending more time together. Keeping the family close. I miss you and mom so much. Judy, Gary and Denny . I hope you are all together rejoicing . I can only imagine how beautiful heaven must be with all of you there. Hello my dearest Dad, yesterday was your birthday. We all though about you with tears of happiness and sadness,  So hard for you to be gone from us. Years have gone by. Michael and the rest of the kids are all growing up so fast. Michael is a senior dad, can you believe that. I am so grateful that he got to spend the time with you. I have always hated the fact that he didn't get to know Mom. She would have loved him as he would have loved her. He is pursuing a career in cutting hair and doing a great job. He miss you too and so does Johnny. I treasure each minute and second I had with you. We had some great laughs. I am so blessed that you spent the last years with us. Our Trip to Disneyland, one i will never forget. Rest in peace Dad, give everyone my love.Until I see you again. Love you. Tell mom i miss her so much. Just one more day with both of you. My dearest Dad, 4 years ago today you left us to be with the lord. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I am so thankful for every minute I spent with you.  I miss you so much and wish you were here with us. Michael is growing up to me a great young man. You would be so proud of him. Part of that is because of you. Life sure has its up and downs that is for sure. We are doing OK, Hanging in there. I am sure you see as you are looking down on us. I get those signs from you all the time. Dad, today marks three years you went to be with the Lord, I remember that day like it was yesterday. I miss you so much. There is not a day that goes by we don't think of you. Michael is turning 16 this Monday, yeah Dad 16, hard to believe. I wish with all my heart you where here to celebrate his special day. He misses you so much, your special time you spend together, so many years. He was so lucky to have those times with you. I had some pictures of you guys printed the other day and he couldn't even look at them. He got all chocked up.  That was your little buddy for sure.  We are all doing ok. Taking one day at a time. The kids are all doing well. Coley is playing T- ball now, boy does that bring back so many memories.  We all try and get together as much as we can. Keep watching over us, we need you. You are resting now, free of pain and with mom again. For that I am thankful for. I still can hear you say, I sure would like a cup of coffee Jilda.  I can hear those words so well, words I will never forget. Until God calls me home, rest in peace dad. I Love you, and miss you more then words can say.

Dad, two years, seams like 10. We still meet every morning in our booth and read the word. Your name comes up and I can still see you sitting there reading with us. I will never forget when I took yopu to the Catholic church. They said get the hymnals out and turn to page 124. I took it out from the seat in front of me and you looked at me and said, pay attention ! I still laugh when I tell that story. We are leaving tomorrow to go to Texas to see our oldest grandson Jordan graduate from the Air Force academy. We have eight garndkids ! All the kids are doing fine. I still pray to some day get back into concrete to keep the name Contra Costa Concrete going. I am so thankfull you taught me how to be a contractor. I am where I am because of you ! You were a great Dad and always gave all of us a great childhood. So many memories. All the Boys play and the Black Bear Softball team and Brenda loves it ! You know how she feels about her kids and baseball.Dad you are Always on my mind and forever in my heart. Give Mom my love.Tell Judy I thank God for the talk Tim and I got to have with her before she left us.  Tell all the rest of the family we miss them, love them and Rest in peace In Jesus name.

We talk about you all the time and the things you use to do to make us laugh. You were so great with him and Dom. I wish you were here to see the rest of the grandkids, Coley and Cali, they are getting so big and are so full of life. When I'm with them, I think about the times you guys use to spend with our kids. It makes me happy and sad. John and I have become you and mom. Briana is graduating from High School this year. Hard to believe.  Stephanie and Richie and Timmy are enjoying their little bundle of joy Trinity. Cookie just celebrated her 70th Birthday, yes your little Cookie, she sure had a great time.    Jimmy's grand babies are as cute as then can be too. Jeanette kids are all doing well We would all be doing so much better if you were all here with us. We just celebrated Easter, which was mom's last Holiday with us kids.  I think about it every time we are all sitting down to dinner.  Yes, Dad time marches on.  We all have to live our lives to the fullest until God calls us home.  We all still get to together when we can. But it will never be the same.  It scares me sometimes; to think we are all getting older now, now we all know how you use to feel. You lived a great life; we had you for 88 years.  I wish it could have been many more. Thanks for always begin the best dad us kids could have ask for.  Spread those wings and fly like an eagle.  I love you and miss you so much.

I thank you for all the memories you have left us. Michael talks about you all the time, he tells everyone how much you have taught him. He is going to have a birthday on Saturday, 14 years old. Hard to believe he is going to be that old. Everyone is doing good. Christina is going to have a baby girl in June. We are so excited. Cole is getting so big. He knows that you are in heaven with god. I love watching him and Johnny together, it reminds me so much of you and Michael. Dominic is doing good too, such a great young man. Cathleen is still working hard with her Gold Refinery Job. John is back to work. We thank god everyday. I always tell him what a great job he did with you. He enjoyed taking care of you, and he too miss you so much. I'm working full time now, I was hired as the office manager here. So we are all doing ok. Please Tell Mom, Gary and Denny life has not been the same since they all left us. We think about all of them all the time, wish they where all still here. Dad, tomorrow it wll be one year since we lost you. Its hard for me to forget that night. Watching you, seeing there was a problem and then you were gone. My heart still morns. My memories will last till I am with Mom and you.  Things up there have got to be great. Everyones health restored. Gary, Denny, all our Aunts and Uncles, yours and Moms Mom & Dad. I can only imagine. Things are good, diner doing great! Roseanne is having a Baby Boy in August. That will make eight grandchildren for Brenda and I ! His name is going to be Lincoln James Gomez. Brenda and I have got to get away on some weekends. I have been fishing with Mike Coccaletto alot in Clear Lake. It's reall relaxing. Uncle Pete is doing good, but just like you he gets mad because they won't let him drive. Give Mom a kiss for me. Hi Papa,

Well it's the first Holiday season without you, and things are definitely not the same. I can't believe it's been 8 months tomorrow she you left us. Time is passing so quickly! Cole is getting so big, I wish you were still here to see him grow. He still knows who Papa Art is though, he looks at your pictures and says Papa is in heaven. It makes me sad to hear him say that, but happy he remembers you. Things have changed so much since you left. Please continue to watch over us, I pray that the lord will give us strength to get through the holidays, and remember the good times we had with you. You are missed so very much Papa. Well Dad today I went and spent sometime with you and Mom. It was the first Thanksgiving with out you, and the first time with out going to talk to Mom with you like we would do every thanksgiving. I must say it was really hard to go there. I prayed for our family as you and I would. Things are definitely not the same with our family since we lost you April second. For some reason I cannot get that horrible night out of my head. The look on your face, the pain in my heart and the samething comes to mind for me. Why, why!. Mike, Dave and I still sit in our booth we all sat in every morning. We read The Daily Bread, pray and have breakfast. I can still see you sitting there with us. I remember how you walk in every morning and we would talk about alot of different things, some times we laughed, sometimes you got mad, but all in all I always will remember the mornings we spent togethr. So I am thankfull to God for the Diner because the last 3 years of your life we got to spend almost everyday together. If it wasn't at breakfast, it was when I brought you dinner at the end of the day. I'm holding back the tears, but they are tears of joy becasue one day we all will be together again by the Grace of God and we all will be a family again. Dad and Mom, thank you so much for the lives you gave all of us, the joy and most of all the love.

Dear Dad, this time last year we where loading the motor home head to the happiest place on earth. I can't believe it has been one year already since that time. We had the best time ever. You have left us all with some wonderful memories of our trip down there. We even celebrated my birthday there. I'm so very grateful you where with us. I still see you sitting by me at the haunted house,with my coat, gloves and my scarf wrap around you neck. Because you where freezing. What I wouldn't do to have you back again. I still can hear you say, Don't tell me Jilda, when I told you not to ride space mountain, but you rode it anyway. You must of know that was going to be your last time there, because you did everything you wanted to do, and rode everything you wanted to. I'm so glad that my kids, and Denise and her kids where there with you and that you spent the last time there will all of us. There is not a day that goes by, that I don't wish you where sitting in your chair, telling me you sure would like a cup of coffee. I miss you, I love you, and don't know how we are going to get through the holidays with out you. I promise I will go down and decorate at the cemetery, just like you did for mom. Life will never be the same with out you both. Thanks for all the wonderful years we had together. All of the trips to Reno and everywhere else we went together. I will treasure those days forever. Michael and Johnny miss you too. We think about you all the time. You are  Always on our minds for ever in our hearts. We love you dad.

Dad, Tomorrow is Fathers Day and the first one without you. But I know you will have a great day tomorrow, you are with Mom and all the rest of our family and friends we lost. I think of you alot. I miss having breakfast with you. I think about all the things we have done, all things you blessed all of us with, from our first colored TV, my first minibike, my first car, but most of all, all the Christams mornings with Mom and you. Memories, I have lots ! How we use to go to all the Motorhome sales at the Fair grounds when they came to town. The time you said, he'll take it to the salesman, when we where at the last one at the Pleasanton fair grounds and I said to you, I will, will I. I wear your Wedding ring everyday and that helps me with the moments I think of you. I look at your ring and it comforts me. Dad you where the best and some day I can tell you that to your face with Mom standing next to you. Until that day you will always be on my mind and forever in my heart.Love you Dad.

Uncle Art I feel like were losing all the people that made this huge family, we were all so close growing up,you and nonny were like second grandparents to us and papa and grammy mary were like second grand parents to your kids. we lived so close and were  always at each others houses we did everything together,going to Tahoe and Clear lake and having so much fun,you were always so nice and kind to us,you loved your family and ours too,you cared about us and worried about us, you always wanted to keep up with what everyone was doing I loved that about you!I will miss when you walked in the house at the lake and said Hi susie whats you been doin! Dad is really going to miss you you were best freind he won't have his Coogi to complain to anymore!but now you will be with Marie and I know you will be very happy together you really missed her and Uncle Art don't forget my mom Mary she needs you too she all alone up there I love you and will miss you until we are all together again Love Susan and the Antonini Family

We went out to lunch at Panda Express,  you know that was his favorite place. As we where sitting at the table he said, how he wished so much you where there. I told him I know, but papa is in your heart. I told him Happy Birthday from you.  We are going to see you today for the first time since you left us. I know you are up in heaven enjoying your self seeing everyone again. Although our hearts are broken, you are at peace now. I love you and I miss you. Love always your hard headed daughter, just like you. I would have it any other way.

So sorry for your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your whole family. May God help you through these times of sorrow and know we will all be together some day.

Dad,back in 1955 when I was born to what turned out to be the best Dad a Son could ask for. I will never forget Christmas at the El Cerrito house. There were presents from wall to wall in the frontroom. I can remember Jilda and I running into your room and making you and Mom wake up so we could go open presents. I went to Golden Gate Fields with you and at a young age learned how to play the horses.I can remember trips to Disney Land. The happiest place on Earth at it truly was when we were there. I saved Jilda's life there. I can remember Mom running to the pool to pull her off the bottom of the pool, but I reached down and pulled her up by her hair. That was the one time I did not get in trouble for pulling her hair. I remember all the dirt bikes you got me. I will never forget when you fell off your dirtbike one time and broke your wrist and I went to the hospital with you for the first time and watched them set your wrist and it made me cry. Then came my fist car. A 1970 Camaro, that you surprised me with. You came by Food Farm where I was working on your way to Clear Lake with Mom. You told me to take my motorcycle home and drive your work truck because you and Mom did not want me on my motorcycle while you were out of town. I went home, opened the garage and there it was ! My 70 Camaro. You didn't know it, but I never went home that entire weekend, I drove everywhere. When I was low on gas all I had to do is go to John Silvers Chevron, fill it up and sign a tag. No matter how stupid I was or what I did you never put me down. Nothing but love is what I got. Then came the time went I went to work in the concrete company. I would be walking into the house from being out disco dancing all night just in time to change to go to work and you never yelled at me. Why I don't know, nothing but love. I guess it was because I was your only Son. You made me a successful concrete contractor. I have been blessed with many things and it all stems from what you taught me. When the economy changed I went into the restaurant business and all you would say is go back to concrete. I have to say having breakfast with you almost every morning and reading the Daily Bread and reading the bible together will stay in my heart until the day I am with you, Mom, Gary, Denny and everyone else we have lost in our family. I am comforted knowing you are in a better place now. You are not tired or bored like you would tell me when Brenda and I would go over to Jilda's to see you. Brenda was a trooper the night we lost you. I will never forget how she jumped right in and tried to save your life.  My heart is broken and my memories are many. But I thank God for the 55 + years I got to spend with you. My tears our of joy knowing you are with Mom and one day I'll be there with you as well. I love you Dad and think of you alot. Rest in Peace.

I'm sorry for your loss.  He sounds like a guy who worked hard, loved life, cherished his family and went out with his head held high.  God Bless Him on his Journey.

I'm sending my condolences to all of you, your children and grandchildren.  I have many memories of Art & Marie, who were long-time friends of my grandparents.  Visits to the house in El Cerrito, and vacations at Clear Lake. Our parents and grandparents really knew how to make, and keep lifelong friends. I can close my eyes and clearly hear all of their voices talking and laughing around the card-table. Art was one-of-a-kind, and another one gone from a great generation. My sympathies for your loss.

To all of the family, our family is sending you our condolences. John and I both know what you are going through and it's a pain that never leaves you and it is re-newed every time one of our friends loose one of their parents. I know deep in my heart that we will all see our parents again, it's just missing them so much after they have left this earth. I can only say that for our loved ones that leave us, they are re-united with are other loved ones that have passed. Does that make us feel good right now, no. But in time I can remember all the good times and I feel my dad around me at times when I really need him. Dad There is so many things I'd like to thank you for. You and mom gave us so many things in our lives , and I just don't know where to begin. The best thing you gave us was your love. Dad, I just wanted to tell you how much we loved you and how much we are going to miss you. It is so hard to come down stairs and you are not sitting in your chair. I want you to know how much we enjoyed having you live here. I would not change one day with you. Those memories will last us a life time. We had so many good times together, our trips to Reno, you even went to Street Vibration with us and Pismo Beach. I'm so glad you went with us to Disneyland to share my special day. We had a great time there. I can't believe you rode space mountain, even though I told you not to. But because you are so hard headed you rode it anyway. Our lives will never been the same with out you. We have spent so much time together these last few month, it will be hard for us not having you around. Dad, what are we going to do with out you. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, for everything you did for us. I so glad we could do something for you in return. Johnny did a great job with you. Thanks for always telling him how much you appreciated what he was doing for you. He doesn't know what he is going to do without you. Please for given us for not taking you home from the hospital when you would ask us to. We where only trying to make you get better. We had such a great day on Friday, we went out to lunch with Baby Cole, who would have ever dreamed you would leave us the next day. So sorry for what you went through that night. Grandpa, I miss you. Today I got a tattoo for you. It turned out amazing. It's your army picture, so now not only are you with me at all times in my heart, but with me for ever on my arm, all I gotta do is look down and there you are. I love you grandpa, thank you for everything
