Deborah Lynn Carlisle

Debbie was born on March 25, 1964 in Castro Valley to proud parents Diane and Larry Bray. Debbie was preceded in death by her Father Larry Bray. She is survived by her mother Diane, her husband Jeff their two children Ryan and Rachel, and two brothers David and Michael. Debbie graduated from Foothill high school in Pleasanton CA and attended Chabot Community College.

In 1986 Debbie met and fell in love with her husband Jeff Carlisle, they were married in 1993 and spent 38 years loving each other. Together they had 2 children Ryan and Rachel. She was a devoted wife and mother, always putting her family first and cherishing every moment spent with them.

Debbie loved spending time with her family, and friends and her dog Max. Debbie ran a daycare she lovingly called Deb's Kids Korner for many years. Eventually she moved on to working with the Oakley Union Elementary School District. She was deeply committed to her job as a paraprofessional for 17 years as well as being a Union representative for the California School Employees Association, making a difference in the lives of those she worked with. She also enjoyed everything about her Scentsy business, taking plant classes, game nights, attending concerts, celebrating with friends and family and supporting others. She loved to go on annual camping trips, she enjoyed shopping and traveling, and just spending time with loved ones.

Debbie was a great friend to so many people. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and community.

May we find comfort in knowing that she will never truly be gone as long as we keep her memory alive in our hearts and minds.

To Debbie, we say farewell for now, but we will never forget the light, laughter and love she brought into our lives. May she rest in peace, and may we continue to honor her memory by living our lives to the fullest.

Burial services will be held July 23, 2024 at 10AM at Union Cemetery, 11545 Brentwood Blvd, Brentwood CA, 94513
