Dennis O. Horan Sr.

Dennis O Horan, Sr passed away on Monday from natural causes. He was a loving father who taught his family to live life to the fullest.Dennis was born in Great Falls, MT and graduated from Camden High School. He enlisted in the USMC in 1960 and served 4 years. After his enlistment he went to work for Ford in Milpitas on the Mustang line. He then went on to work as an auto mechanic for various repair shops and eventually was the owner of D&B Automotive in Palo Alto. Later in his career he earned a teaching credential and taught auto mechanics at CCOC & Wyotech. He enjoyed his church family at East Bay Pentecostal and played guitar for their music group. You could find him bowling at Harvest Park Bowl every week.Dennis is predeceased by his wife Clara, his parents James & Elizabeth Horan and his sister Anita. He is survived by his sons Jim & Dennis Jr, his sisters Cheryl & Nina, his grandsons Jeff & Joe Horan and his granddaughter Courtney Horan.Friends and family are invited to a funeral service on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 1p.m. (visitation starts at 12p.m.) at Brentwood Funeral Home, 839 First St in Brentwood. Burial will be at Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos-Almaden Rd in San Jose on Monday June 1, 2015 at 1:30p.m. (processional will leave from Bay Area Pentecostal Church, 868 Boynton Ave in San Jose starting at 12:30p.m.)
