Frances Love Wilmoth entered eternity to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 17, 2015 with her children beside her. Frances was born in Ashville, AL the 6th child of Ross and Ether (Scoggins) Love. She had wonderful memories of helping on the farm with her family during the depression.
She graduated from Ashville High School, Jacksonville State College, and taught for a year in Ashville before going to Arizona to teach on an Apache Indian reservation. In the summers, she finished her Masters in Elementary Education at Northern Arizona University. Her first session there, she was recruited to teach at Crane Elementary in Yuma, AZ, where she taught until her retirement. She was loved and respected throughout that community and loved on 2-3 generations of children. She also attended Morningside Baptist Church for 50 years.
After retirement, she traveled the USA extensively and took cruises with her family. She loved learning about new places and visiting with friends. She kept in touch with everyone she met and loved by everyone she knew. Her Bible knowledge, intelligence and quick wit were evident with every conversation.
She embraced her life in Brentwood, CA in her move in 2008, with her bountiful spirit to be close to her family. She loved her neighborhood and church, who were all impacted with her sweet smile, love of people, love of God, and her insatiable love of learning. Her love of the Lord was so evident in everything she did and said. She made such great friends and often said how happy she was that God had given her this time with them and her family.
Our beloved Mama/Granny is survived by her children, Liz Beth Fletcher (David), Ross Hansohn, and Larry Hansohn (Romina), grandchildren Jason Fletcher, JoAnna Munns, Justin, Danielle, and Andrew Hansohn, also her great-grandchildren, Ashley, Payton, Sydney, Parker, Kyle, Ryan, and Presley. Also, she leaves her sisters, Jessie Walton and Martha Hale, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and a brother.
Frances will be greatly missed, though we rejoice that we can celebrate her life and rejoice for the times we shared with her.
We invite friends to share a Celebration and Legacy on April 16th at 11 AM, Golden Hills Community Church, corner of Lone Tree Way and Shady Willow Lane, Brentwood, CA.
