Many of you have followed Josh’s life and health journey and it’s with sorrow that we announce that Josh was called home to be with God in heaven on July 25th. This is obviously a very difficult situation for us, but there is peace knowing Josh no longer has the heavy burden of:

>Pain.

>Pills (36 a day).

>Anxiety.

>Insomnia.

>Uncertainty.

Josh’s journey was complex and difficult at times, but Josh always found positive things to say and share and the impact he had on people has never been clearer. The outpouring of love and support from his family, friends and heart transplant team at Lucille Packard Children’s hospital at Stanford who have cared for him and his brother Ben for the past 18 years.

Josh’s family will have a Celebration of this warrior’s life on Saturday October 12th from 1-5 PM at Hannah Nicole Vineyards in Brentwood. We will serve Josh’s favorite meal and beverages there and to help celebrate him please wear something purple (his favorite color). If you have any photos of Josh you wish to be shared please email them to [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]). His stepsister Jayla will be compiling them for a slide show which will be presented at his celebration.
