Leonard Allen Shannon Feb 26, 1947 Oct 30, 2013 Resident of Oakley Leonard Allen "Shannon" Shannon passed away Wednesday, October 30th. It's safe to say that anyone who knew him will never forget him. Shannon was born and raised in West Pittsburg, and graduated from Pacifica High School. He owned and operated Shannon Auto Parts in Oakley for nearly 30 years. Shannon was an incorrigible rabble-rouser, and loved hunting, ranching, farming, woodworking, 4-H, and the island of Hawaii. However, it was spending time with his four grandchildren that he valued above all else. Shannon is survived by his wife Toni Marie; children Patrick (Lindsay) of Concord and Sean (Amy) of Brentwood, and his grandchildren James, Lilian, Samantha, and Ruby. Services will be held at Brentwood Funeral Home, 839 1st St, Brentwood, on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 11AM, with a celebration immediately following at The Golf Club at Brentwood, 100 Summerset Dr, Brentwood.
