Mary Edna Frank (Edna) passed away suddenly on June 8, 2012. Edna was born in Henrietta, Oklahoma and grew up in Brentwood, California. She loved reading, crocheting, gardening, and cooking and baking for her family and friends. She was also an animal lover who cared for many pets over the years, often taking in strays and giving them a loving home. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Emil Frank, and her daughter, Elaine Frank DeSplinter. Edna is survived by her daughter, Leslie Frank Critoria, and her grandchildren, Kelly DeSplinter Chavez, Lori Critoria Brush, Bob DeSplinter, Jason Critoria, Jenna DeSplinter, Stacy Critoria, Dave DeSplinter, and her great-grandchildren, Katie Critoria, Jack Chavez, Alexander DeSplinter, James Brush, and Emma Chavez. There will be a small graveside ceremony on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at 11 am at Union Cemetery, 11545 Brentwood Blvd, Brentwood, CA 94513, followed by an open house at the home of Leslie Critoria, 307 Mondavi Lane, Brentwood, CA 94513.
