

Paul graduated from De La Salle High School, went to masonry school to learn bricklaying, was a payroll clerk, and spent most of his work career at IBM as a computer technician. In his retirement, he worked at the farmers market in the family business.
Paul was an Army veteran.
Paul was very creative in writing poetry and was a master at crossword puzzles. He was a sports guru and a little league coach. He was a skilled punster with a contagious laugh. His quick wit, humor, agility, and helping hand always impacted the people around him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Stephen J. and Marjorie M., and by a brother Steve (the late Pat). Survivors include two brothers, Charles (the late Marcie) of CO, Martin (the late Diane) of AZ, five sisters, Donna (Patrick) Dacko of TX, Mary McCauley (the late Marty) of CA, Cheryl (Bob) Stringer of CA, Marjorie (Terry) Pestlin of WI and Karen (Butch) Rudziewicz of IL.
Paul is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The Kirka family will be forever grateful to all who gave our brother Paul love, comfort, and their time.
Funeral services will be held at Brentwood funeral home at Brentwood in Northern California.
In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to… De La Salle High School in Concord, California or Chicago, IL or your local little league baseball team.
